Meet Michelle Roberts
RN, IBCLC, RLC
Hi, I’m Michelle
As a mom of four, my passion for breastfeeding runs deep. It all began with my first baby boy, Corey. I was amazed by the bond breastfeeding created between us—how my body nourished him for nine months and continued to provide everything he needed after birth. That experience sparked a lifelong love for supporting other mothers on their feeding journeys.
I have over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, with 19 of those years dedicated to caring for moms and babies. I have spent more than 15 years as an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and one of my key specialties is supporting families with Tethered Oral Restrictions (tongue and lip ties). Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of helping more than 1,000 families reach their breastfeeding goals.
I’m a proud Slidell native and a graduate of Slidell High School’s Class of 1996. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. Today, I am a wife, a mother, and someone deeply committed to serving my community in the best way I know how—by helping families thrive through compassionate, evidence-based breastfeeding support.
